The IOON Council of Experts is an independent, international advisory body that safeguards the scientific integrity, methodological rigor, educational quality, and institutional neutrality of IOON.
Composed of peer-nominated, term-limited global leaders across science, gastronomy, health, sustainability, oleotourism and innovation, the Council ensures all IOON programs are aligned with IOC and ISO frameworks, evidence-based, and relevant across the olive oil value chain.
Through peer review, methodology oversight, and strategic guidance, the Council supports high-quality education, trust-building, and the continuous evolution of olive oil practice worldwide.
The Council is globally constituted, with representation across Europe, the Americas, and the Asia-Pacific — ensuring that IOON reflects a truly international perspective and serves the interests of diverse cultures, markets, and consumers worldwide.
