FUTURE OF OLIVE OIL SUMMIT
Our Mission

The Future of Olive Oil Summit (FOOS) is an international gathering held as part of the 360° Olive Oil Sommelier Advanced Certificate Program. Its purpose is to bring together the local olive oil community and ecosystem with the IOON Council of Experts and the global participants of the 360° program.
FOOS serves as a collaborative platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and inspiration — bridging science, gastronomy, culture, and sustainability.
The 2025 theme, Cultivating Journeys, highlights oleotourism as a living intersection of heritage, environment, and experience, celebrating how olive oil connects people, land, and purpose across borders


FOOS is part of the 360° Olive Oil Sommelier Advanced Certificate Program (10–15 November 2025), a CPD-accredited professional program delivered with the Zurich University of Applied Sciences and the Swiss Olive Oil Panel.
While the 360° program is an immersive professional journey for selected participants, FOOS opens its doors to a broader audience — creating a unique bridge between local producers, international experts, and global enthusiasts.
Organised by the International Olive Oil Network (IOON) with academic and industry partners.
